With this project we will try to find some solutions for the children affected by the maternal absence or the children who do not enjoy their mothers’ presence enough.
Motto: “Some time ago I used to draw like an adult. But it took me my whole life to be able to draw like a child….”
We all know that ‘Mother’ is the most important person in the world for every child. But what happens in children’s hearts when their mothers have to go to work in another country and they are left with their grandparents? What about the situation when a mother abandons her children and the little ones are raised by foster parents, or the situation when the family is falling apart, and the children do not really know what parent to choose to live with.
There is a powerful relationship between each child and his/ her mother. A mother always knows her child’s pain and what he/ she thinks in different situations. A mother gives life to her child, loves him/ her unconditionally, takes care of him/her, forgives the child if he/she has done something wrong. The mothers’ involvement in the extracurricular activities of their children changed the kids’ behaviour. The mothers’ behaviour also changed as they realized that it is very important for a mother to spend active time with her child.
This project was a wonderful opportunity for the children, their parents and the teachers to interact, to know each other better, to discover and to improve the children’s skills.
This project aimed to show how they can involve families (mother, father and grandparents) in the school life of children in different schools in different countries. Show that there are different realities but there are also points that intersect. Grandparents who sometimes replace the mothers, fathers who are separated, broken families that the school sometimes helps integrate. The project brought the family to school in all institutions and was very good to note that the oldest had here an important role in the knowledge they transmitted to younger valuing the role of families. Mothers, fathers and grandparents taught their students games of his childhood, shared life stories enriching and enhancing the knowledge across generations.
1. To streng then mother-child relationship
2. To help the future development of young people in a balanced, harmonious way
3. To involve mothers / guardians in children's school and extracurricular activities
In this project interact online monthly children and teachers from 7 European countries: Romania, Portugal, Bulgaria, Poland, Italy, Greece and Turkey. Children and mothers in Romania involved in this project exceeds 150. They meet face to face in different activities and online with other partners on the project website.
The project has changed for the better behavior of mothers, but also on the children and not least the teachers involved, which in turn are mothers. Students learned to behave more nicely with mothers / grandmothers have learned to bestow and provide unconditional affection. Mothers have realized that you can make someone happy with very little.
