Today at the Campidoglio

It’s the last day of the Global Junior Challenge Final Event! 

 

The awards ceremony will be held in the prestigious Rome Campidoglio, in the heart of Rome. The winners will be announced in the Aula Giulio Cesare, the Hall of the Palazzo Senatorio that hosts a statue of Julius Caesar from the first century BC and a mosaic from Ostia Antica. Once the seat of the Roman Senate, today it hosts the meetings of the City Council.

 

Five awards will be assigned for the 2017 edition:

  • The Bronze Medal of the Etruscan She-wolf, a prestigious symbol of the City of Rome to the winner of each category;
  • A special award for the most innovative project presented by Italian schools;
  • A Bronze Medal for the winner of the Tullio De Mauro Special Award;
  • A technological device for a project presented by a developing country;
  • A special award for the winning team of the “Borders/NoBorders” Hackathon.
