Giorgio Napolitano, the Italian President, has donated three medals for the most innovative projects presented by Italian schools.

Registration has been extended to July 31, 2012. The final event of the sixth edition of the GJC will be held in October 2012.

The Awards Ceremony took place today at the Rome City Hall, the Campidoglio, where twelve prizes were assigned along with two special mentions.

An international jury selected 109 finalist projects from 456 applications.

The international jury is now selecting the finalist projects for the 5th edition of the Global Junior Challenge.

The Finisterrae Cooperative participates in the GJC with a project to prevent dependency from drugs.
