I principali risultati sono: realizzazione della piattaforma; utilizzo delle ICT da parte dei giovani e della cittadinanza; promozione del territorio attraverso le ICT e il web 2.0; condivisione di esperienze e cultura fra giovani di diversi territori; svolgimento del concorso “My Memories” (ogni concorrente dovrà realizzare un filmato video che rappresenti la ricca realtà storico-culturale del territorio di Fiorenzuola d’Arda in riferimento a uno dei temi tra i quali tradizioni, i costumi del territorio e il suo patrimonio culturale identità locale e memoria storica); realizzazione di laboratori pratici per studenti volti a produrre idee per la valorizzazione della propria città e la scoperta delle tradizioni con creazione di video sulle tradizioni locali con la raccolta di testimonianze; coinvolgimento attivo dei giovani e della cittadinanza, delle associazioni e delle realtà territoriali; promozione della cultura e valorizzazione del territorio.

I beneficiari diretti del progetto sono circa 500 studenti di età compresa tra gli 11 e i 19 anni e quelli indiretti sono amici del target group, famiglie, insegnanti, persone detentrici delle tradizioni, associazioni, aggregazioni no profit e persone che usano la piattaforma.

Progetto rivolto a giovani di età compresa tra gli 11 e i 19 anni con l’obiettivo di stimolare la capacità propositiva e la cittadinanza attiva, per incentivare la partecipazione consapevole alla vita della comunità attraverso le TIC e il web 2.0 promuovendo il coinvolgimento alla vita della propria comunità, l’educazione civica e la memoria storica come strumento di autoidentificazione, inclusione e coesione sociale.

La diffusione dell’uso di strumenti informatici di comunicazione determina una sempre maggiore capacità e possibilità per i giovani di entrare in contatto con altre realtà, con coetanei di tutto il mondo, portatori di valori e culture diverse. Il confronto tra questi valori e culture è un fattore di crescita, quali la comprensione delle diversità, la tolleranza e la solidarietà. Allo stesso tempo questo “affacciarsi sul mondo” deve avvenire partendo dalla consapevolezza di sé e della propria cultura, delle caratteristiche storiche, sociali e culturali della propria comunità per evitare il rischio della perdita d’identità. L’integrazione dei giovani immigrati di seconda generazione, che vivono nella “duplicità” di ambiente e di cultura della propria famiglia e dei luoghi di comunità che frequentano (scuola, centri, associazioni) necessita di una guida determinata dal senso di appartenenza che può essere rinforzato dal linguaggio comune delle ICT. Il focus del progetto è la realizzazione di una piattaforma tecnologica web con la funzione di raccogliere i vari materiali prodotti dai ragazzi del territorio sui temi delle tradizioni, dei costumi, dell'identità locale, della memoria storica, della cittadinanza attiva ecc.

Il coinvolgimento dei ragazzi e dei docenti è stato totale. Le uniche difficoltà riguardano la tecnologia e i suoi costi. I podcast sono stati caricati su Spreaker, ma a distanza di tempo sono stati rimossi dagli amministratori, perché non è stato comprato il servizio in abbonamento. Attualmente si è reso necessario ricaricarli di nuovo su podomatic, che, purtroppo, non è fruibile su android, perciò eccetto le audioguide su palazzo Doria Pamphili rimangono caricate su spreaker e a breve spariranno e dovranno essere caricate di nuovo su podomatic

I ragazzi sono entusiasti e sono disposti a lavorare all’attività anche se comporta un carico di lavoro aggiuntivo a quello della didattica curricolare.. Dal punto di vista strettamente didattico si nota una maggiore permanenza dei contenuti veicolati e un potenziamento delle competenze di lettura, scrittura, ideative e di progettazione. Non sono stati somministrati questionari di valutazione a sostegno delle osservazioni.

Ci sono 30 ragazzi che si incontrano nel laboratorio pomeridiano di media education del venerdì dalle 15.30 alle 17,00, per redigere le cronache in forma scritta e come rubriche delle news di radio lol e cronache sportive in modalità di ampliamento dell’offerta formativa. Il volano del progetto è stata a classe 3B (19 alunni )e a cui si è aggiunta quest’anno la classe 2A (22 alunni) che ha realizzato le audioguide di Palazzo Doria.

RADIOLOL è un’estensione di un progetto pluriennale di laboratorio di laboratorio di giornalismo che pubblica due numeri quadrimestrali (ecco il numero di gennaio http://issuu.com/alessiariccardi/docs/anno4_n9/1?e=12719409/11171876) ogni anno scolastico e partecipa al progetto repubblica@scuola

I ragazzi con un approccio collaborativo effettuano ricerca attingendo a più canali informativi, costruiscono dei podcast e dei video su temi disciplinari e sulla cronaca cittadina.

Project Summary (max. 2000 characters):

La classe da cui è partita l’idea era al secondo anno della scuola secondaria di I grado, la docente utilizzava con i ragazzi una piattaforma didattica moodle con gli strumenti ad esso collegati (pagine wiki, forum di discussione, questionari, glossari). In classe erano presenti 5 pc connessi ad internet e una LIM. L’idea della realizzazione di una serie di podcast è stata la più recente delle attività con l’ausilio delle ict ed è nata dal bisogno di utilizzare come leva per l’apprendimento la voglia dei ragazzi di porsi al centro della scena, con uno strumento di comunicazione nuovo e, per loro, insolito. Occorreva un’idea che canalizzasse le loro per sviluppare abilità e competenze di base e rendesse più attraente un’attività strettamente disciplinare come lo studio della storia, della letteratura, delle scienze. Le prime puntate della radio sono nate come interviste impossibili nella rubrica “@ sp@sso nel tempo”. I ragazzi si sono documentati per scrivere le sceneggiature, hanno lavorato in modalità di Cooperative Learning in piccoli gruppi e ciò ha consentito l’inclusione degli alunni con BES. La registrazione è solo la parte finale di un lavoro di documentazione con una didattica multicanale che affina lo spirito critico, li fa riflettere sul processo di scrittura e ha una visibilità maggiore di un semplice testo scritto o di una presentazione power point. Il lavoro è stato per loro così coinvolgente e motivante che si sono aggiunte nel tempo altre rubriche ed è nata la collaborazione con gli altri docenti di lingua inglese, scienze, musica.
Le tecnologie sono integrate nella didattica quotidiana e non aggiungono un carico cognitivo estraneo all’insegnamento. I prodotti realizzati sono fruibili in mobile Learning e si rivelano utilissimi per gli alunni con Bisogni Educativi Speciali, in particolare per gli alunni con dislessia.

Ours was an attempt to overcome the various obstacles that prevent students to actually visit a place, to travel, bringing, thanks to the use of technological tools, some elements of the culture and the beauty of the various European countries to the knowing of all. Today we live in a global village where, although we're getting closer thanks to the diffusion of technological tools, tourism or migration processes often do not know enough about the person who stands with us nor his country of origin. Which brings us to look at each other with suspicious eyes. The project has approached the students to different cultures and brought them to understand and accept them. In a playful and enjoyable way pupils have known some important people and the contribution they have given not only to the culture of their country but worldwide; have enhanced their communicative, digital, social, organizational skills;have integrated the concrete experience with the virtual; have acquired basic knowledge and skills to become active and informed citizens in a multicultural and globalized society. Knowing Europe's cultural wealth through direct contact with the partner schools allowed pupils to feel part of Europe, Europeans, surprised by the differences or similarities that gradually showed in the uses and customs. For all these reasons, the project is an example of good practice that can be replicated in other schools

Travel or go through a journey of others listening to the story, reading a logbook, looking at the images is a way immediate and nice to bring the students to different places, different culture, to admire the beauties of the world and broaden boundaries of their own experience. The project has therefore approached the students to new realities, brought them to understand and accept them and made them travel through a logbook of different characters representing the various countries and various cultures. The results of activities implemented were varied and very interesting. The whole project has further motivated the students as it is served to deepen learnings different from those proposed traditionally at school . Pupils have worked with classmates of foreign schools , exchanging material , creating work together and communicating outside of the design motivations and are thus arrived at concrete and solid friendships . In addition , the students were able to enrich their knowledge in various disciplines such as geography , history , science, art, but also the way they live in a family in a different culture with different traditions, education and thinking. So , collaboration , exchange, sharing, different intercultural approach through communication and information channels most challenging , the need to use a common foreign language ( English ) and the development of specific skills have made this project interesting , functional and appropriate to the objectives. The product is considered to be very good because of the positive impact on students, teachers, parents, community. At this level of training experience must surely be greatly towards the growth of the students, the development of their ripeness , achieving a greater understanding and awareness of cultural diversity , and thus increase the attention and interest in the school itself, who is the promoter of the complex evolutionary process of students.

Teachers and students of the different partner schools, parents, the school community. Teachers and students provide for sending and receiving of various mini genius, use the tools that the eTwinning portal provides as well as numerous Web 2.0 to narrate and document the several trips made by the minigenius, to communicate with each other or publish on the web. Parents work with pupils at home hosting the minigenius and accompanying children in different trips. The publication of the various activities on the website allows members of the school community to follow and catch up the different travel routes and get to know other cultures and environments.

The project was started by some needs perceived by some European teachers. Despite the different experiences made in the past, in our classes it is poorly feel the spirit of globalization. The classes see also the presence of some pupils of different nationalities or from socio-culturally disadvantaged families. This led us to feel the need to prepare our students to live in a multicultural and globalized society using an effective and engaging tool. The travel dreams have characterized the boys of every age and every country, but very often in reality it is not carried out for a number of reasons. So many of our students will never see what is happening around the place where they live and they will never know the wonderful city and places in the world. We have therefore thought to help our students to overcome these obstacles using the tools that technology provides us. The basic objective of the project was therefore to introduce the students to different cultures, to understand them and accept them using as a tool for mediation the logbook of trips made by some characters, constructed by the students.
