L’école a pour but de former, dans le cadre des activités periscolaires, les enfants de 8 à 14 ans, à la programmation informatique en utilisant la robotique comme support d’apprentissage ludique et innovant. Le concept d’école sera packagé afin de proposer à toute personne désireuse d’ouvrir une école de le faire en ayant l’ensemble des éléments indispensables à la bonne marche d’une école. Ce package comprend les cours en OpenSource, un kit pédagogique, un système d’évaluation ainsi que l’accès au réseau Roboticamp.&lt;/p&gt;

creato da un&#039;idea di Ciro Agizza e Salvatore Longobardi (alias Antonio Guerriero).&lt;br /&gt;
L’incremento degli iscritti è stato consistente in seguito all’iniziativa di utilizzare la rete e la condivisione delle informazioni per aggirare e superare finalmente la poca trasparenza dell’Ufficio Scolastico Provinciale nelle operazioni di conferimento delle cattedre ad inizio anno scolastico.&lt;br /&gt;
L’iniziativa, denominata “La trasparenza vi seppellirà !!”, ha consentito, utilizzando una piattaforma informatica realizzata dagli amministratori grazie alle loro competenze informatiche ha permesso  di annotare con un portatile dotato di una internet key o uno smartphone con connessione dati in tempo reale ed on line quale disponibilità scelga il docente appena convocato !!!&lt;br /&gt;
E’ stata una vera e propria rivoluzione che ha visto interessati migliaia di docenti, non solo nella compilazione della piattaforma, ma anche nello scambio e nella condivisione di informazioni utili e preziose anche nell&#039;ultimo concorso a cattedra, per la compilazione delle domande di aggiornamento GAE, per il corso di formazione per neoassunti del MIUR.&lt;br /&gt;
Dall’esperienza del gruppo facebook, gli admin Ciro Agizza e Antonio Guerriero, hanno compreso però i forti limiti del social network, come la mancanza di un forum, l’impossibilità di archiviare e recuperare facilmente discussioni, post e file caricati. Da queste osservazioni ci si è chiesti se fb fosse lo strumento più adatto per poter affrontare tematiche del genere e se non fosse il caso di attrezzare un sito che avesse una suddivisione in sezioni, un vero forum, uno spazio per download organizzato per tematiche e categorie in modo da non disperdere idee, progetti, proposte, le competenze, la solidarietà e l’immensa esperienza maturata in questi anni con l’aiuto di tutti gli iscritti.&lt;br /&gt;
Da Dicembre 2013 il sito di Psn si è arricchito della sezione Didattica, inizialmente con articoli sul Laboratorio Povero, curati dal prof. Alfonso D&#039;Ambrosio, che oggi gestisce l&#039;intera sezione. Ad oggi la sezione conta articoli scrtti da docenti di ogni ordine e grado, articoli didattici, di esperienza svolte in classe, di metodologie più o meno innovative.&lt;/p&gt;

Si può creare una classe in pochi attimi e, attraverso un codice unico, garantire l’iscrizione a tutti gli studenti. Con molta facilità è possibile caricare files di ogni tipo (senza alcun limite di estensione), linkare materiale da risorse esterne. Infine c’è da ricordare la disponibilità gratuita di applicazioni per smartphone e tablet, elemento che ha entusiasmato i ragazzi. Rispetto ad altre piattaforme ha il vantaggio di poter essere utilizzato da chiunque e non richiede particolari conoscenze informatiche, inoltre è presente un “parent code” da poter consegnare ai genitori affinchè possano anche loro accedere alla piattaforma e controllare il lavoro dei ragazzi o comunicare con il docente. Personalmente, con le mie classi, non ho usato questa funzionalità, ho informato i genitori che i ragazzi avrebbero utilizzato questa piattaforma ma non ho consegnato il codice; volevo che i ragazzi si responsabilizzassero durante l’uso dei social network e poiché hanno tutti almeno 15 anni non mi è sembrato necessario lo stretto intervento dei genitori. La funzionalità è comunque interessante specialmente se si lavora con ragazzi più piccoli o con bambini. Con l’uso di EDMODO la lezione non finisce con l’ora di insegnamento in classe ma continua anche oltre l’orario scolastico, i ragazzi possono chiedere chiarimenti, l’insegnante può mostrare a tutti, come esempio di soluzione di un esercizio proposto, il buon lavoro svolto da uno studente, può formare gruppi di studenti all’interno della classe, può chiedere ad un allievo di rendersi disponibile per “spiegare” un esercizio ad un compagno in difficoltà, può correggere gli esercizi di ogni singolo studente prima dello svolgersi della lezione successiva ed inviare suggerimenti per correggere eventuali errori.&lt;/p&gt;

La “app” per i telefonini permette di visionare i compiti, condividere i dati, ma è meno efficace di quella su computer. Ho quindi deciso di sperimentarne l’uso con alcune delle mie classi. Il vantaggio deriva dal fatto che gli studenti hanno a disposizione uno strumento simile a facebook ma che non permette loro di mescolare la vita privata con quella scolastica, quando accedono ad EDMODO sanno che si trovano in un ambiente scolastico, che è una “propagazione” della scuola, un essere ancora in classe; è la classe che si estende oltre le mura della scuola ed offre nuove opportunità per condividere ed imparare. Durante quest’anno scolastico il progetto è stato sperimentato con una classe prima, una seconda e due classi quarte&lt;/p&gt;
