Teacher Nadia Di Falco from the Istituto comprensivo n. 2 San Salvo [1] (Chieti) will participate in the Global Junior Challenge [2] with a Digital Storytelling Project entitled “The Selfish Giant” to improve students’ English language skills.

Based on Oscar Wilde’s “The Selfish Giant,” the project develops an interdisciplinary course that raises student awareness about the values of sharing and generosity. The children animated the story with audio and video.

The project provides a fun and stimulating context for children to acquire new language skills and improve their pronunciation, understanding and vocabulary. Moreover, the students also improved their transversal competence (group work, expression, independence, self-trust) and experimented with new technology.
