This project, which will participate in the 8th edition of the Global Junior Challenge [1], addresses active citizenship and has a great educational value. “The city that makes you fly” is the name of the Monticelli Neighbourhood in Ascoli redesigned by fourth-year students at the Don Giussani Primary School with the help of the Wifi Robotics Labs Association.

Based on the post-earthquake reconstruction, the students redesigned their neighbourhood. Divided into various teams, they worked on every single aspect: planning first on paper and then transferring the designed buildings on Tinkercad and writing their description. The project was printed in 3D and assembled on A3 format (not scaled).

Marco Brocchieri, software trainer, visiting the Fab Lab at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym, described the experience and the expectations at the Global Junior Challenge.
