Breaking Down Barriers

The objective of Project Spazi Pop Pup: abbattiamo le barriere is to promote social inclusion in school by eliminating all social, psychological and cultural obstacles.

The growing presence of students with special needs or other issues has led to a strategic methodological and didactic innovation: no more classrooms with closed doors and seated students, but open lab spaces, with more manual activities and coding.

Ancient technology (manual work, creating objects, cultivation …) integrates perfectly with modern coding (Scratch) and the use of tools such as PCs, tablets and robots to overcome the digital divide. All of the school’s closed spaces have been transformed into active learning labs that allow students to become the true protagonists of learning.

Moreover, Frenet’s EAS Methodology has been introduced in some classes and is now being extended to others through coding and robotics.
